We would like to thank all the paddlers that participated in the 2006 Toronto Harbour Outrigger International Challenge and made it such a successful event. A special thank you to the paddlers that travelled for many hours from the USA to participate in our first ECORA sanctioned OC6 races. On the organizing side, a special thank you to Gail Smith who was a key organizer for the weekend of activities plus, once again, gave up her opportunity to paddle in order to be the chief timer for the races. With over 120 paddlers participating, the two days of races were the largest outrigger event ever held in the Greater Toronto Area.
